Grand Blanc beats Portage Central 8-3 to earn first Division 1 championship
Grand Blanc defeated Portage Central 8-3 to earn its first Michigan High School Athletic Association Baseball Division 1 Championship. Junior Nate Helms earned the win on the mound for Grand Blanc (33-11), allowing three runs and striking out six in six innings of work. Senior Tim Welsh earned the save, striking out three in the seventh inning. The Bobcats had a balanced attack on offense, with six different players driving in runs. Senior Jonah Meleski had a hit and scored two runs. Junior David Lally had a double, RBI, and scored a run. Junior Hunter Ames scored two runs, a hit and RBI. Freshman Nathan Fidelino had two hits and an RBI. Junior Dylan Bowen had a hit and scored a run. Senior Tim Welsh had a hit, RBI, and scored a run. Junior Connor Cooper and senior Jackson Williams both drove in runs.

Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory shut out Stevensville Lakeshore 9-0 to repeat as Michigan High School Athletic Association Baseball Division 2 Champions. Senior Tommy Allman earned the victory on the mound, allowing two hits and striking out seven in 6.1 innings of work. Senior Jake Keaser got the final two outs. Junior Jake Dresselhouse had two hits, scored a run, and drove in a run. Senior Alex Mooney had a hit, two RBI, and scored two runs. Junior Nolan Schubart had a hit, two RBI, and scored a run. University Liggett pounds St. Francis 12-0 to win Division 3 championship
Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett shut out Traverse City St. Francis 12-0 in five innings to win the Michigan High School Athletic Association Baseball Division 3 Championship. Sophomore Jack Jones earned the shutout on the mound, striking out six and allowing only three hits for Liggett (31-5). At the plate, Jones scored two runs and drove in two runs. Senior Matthew Greene had a double and triple, driving in a championship record five runs. Freshman Reginald Sharpe had two hits, three RBI, and scored two runs. Freshman Preston Barr had three hits, scored two runs, and an RBI. Junior Kurt Barr had a hit, walk and scored two runs. Box score
